The decor in the common areas and the rooms of Chuquiragua Lodge, Michacha, Ecuador was interesting. Even though I have never lived in South America, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of independent granjeros and campesinos.
Taken back to a time where skillful craftsmen made our furniture, where we ate what we grew and stayed home and entertained ourselves.
